Overview
Ropner Lewis Sanders was established in 2025 upon the merger of Lewis Sanders and Ropner Search. Established in 2006 by Emily Lewis and Lindsey Sanders, Lewis Sanders became one of the largest dedicated specialist legal recruiters in Hong Kong with a twenty-year track record of placing lawyers and professional support professionals at all levels at international law firms as well as global investment banks, financial institutions, regulators, MNCs and Hong Kong listed companies. Established in 2016 by Angus Ropner, Ropner Search gained a solid reputation for partner and team moves at international law firms across Asia.
Both firms built their reputations on the core values of integrity, trust and professionalism and the combination of the two firms has enabled them to maintain long standing relationships with candidates and clients both in-house and in private practice, creating Hong Kong’s most highly regarded legal and compliance recruiter.

Headed by Angus Ropner, Ropner Lewis Sanders operates out of Hong Kong and undertakes local, regional and international recruitment assignments primarily covering Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Singapore.
