Hong Kong

Ashurst has appointed Hong Kong partner Jini Lee as the firm’s new regional head of Asia, the second woman to lead the firm’s Asia practice. Hong Kong-based debt capital markets partner Jini Lee takes over as the new leader for the region; while financial regulations partner Evan Lam joins the firm in Singapore. (Legal Week, May 18)

 

Baker McKenzie has appointed leveraged finance specialist Kenneth Ching as a partner in Hong Kong from Shearman & Sterling, where he was a counsel. (ALB, May 19)

 

Singapore

Clifford Chance has added Shaun Langhorne as a partner in its international restructuring and insolvency team in Singapore. Langhorne is a senior practitioner with vast experience in complex, multi-stakeholder and cross-border restructuring matters, covering contentious and non-contentious situations across the Asia Pacific region.
